Natalia Kungurtceva

She studied at the Ufa State Choreographic Academy named after R. Nureyev. From the very first years of training, she attracted the attention of leading teachers as a bright and talented and promising student. Natalia repeatedly won competitions for students of ballet academies.

In 1991 she won the III prize at the International Ballet Competition in Nagoya. Then she was invited by the leading soloist to the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater. Where, in parallel with her studies at the academy, she performed such parts as Mari (The Nutcracker), Princess Aurora, Princess Florina, the Lilac Fairy (Sleeping Beauty) and Myrtle (Giselle)

In 1992, a diploma winner at the Arabesque International Ballet Competition. In 1993 successfully graduated from the Ufa State Choreographic Academy named after R.Nuriev. In the same year, she was invited by the leading ballerina to the Moscow State Theater “Classical Ballet” under the direction of Kasatkina and Vasilev. Where such parties as Odette / Odile (Swan Lake), Juliet (Romeo and Juliet), Nikia (La Bayadere) and many others danced. In 1997 she was invited to the “Russian National Ballet” where she shone in the roles of Kitri (Don Quixote), Carmen (Carmen-Suite), Odette / Odile (Swan Lake), Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). From 2001 to 2008, she was a guest star of the Moscow City Ballet.

From 2008 to 2010, a guest star of the theater of the Russian Academy of Theater Arts. Critics note the special talent of Natalia, her expression and strength on stage in an amazing way combined with lightness and beauty. She paints the images of her heroines, with a unique and inherent only skill.

In 2018, she graduated from the Choreography Department at the Moscow State Institute of Culture.
